Ten Things You DIDN'T Know About Justin Moore

Justin Moore stopped in this morning to celebrate MY Birthday!! I chatted with him to find out 10 things we don't know about him!!

  •
Justin is a fantastic family man. His family travels with him every other week on the road. I think his wife and I would be the best of friends. She loves to tag along on the road just to take the girls shopping!
  •
Who is his favorite artist(s) playing on the radio today? JOSH THOMPSON. Justin says that he is a very, very talented artist and he has a ton of respect for him. He also added Randy Houser to his favorites list.
  •
Justin told us he met his wife on his senior Spring Break trip in Panama City. He said their love story could be a movie. Awwwww!!
  •
Justin is one of the MOST laidback, nicest, and personable artist we have ever met. He is a good country boy. We would love to have a campfire with him and just talk about the "good ole days"
  •
Justin has two girls, Ella Kole and Kennedy Faye. His wife, Kate, is ready for another child but he is not! We think he is just scared of having another girl. He is already worried about beating the boys off when they are older!
  •
Justin graduated High School with just 38 other people. He had 39 people in his senior class. Now, that' small!
  •
Justin joked that his song, "Back That Thing Up" caused his mom to change churches!!
  •
Darius and Justin are really close friends. Justin was excited to join him for the beginning of this tour. When asked if he ever calls him Hootie by mistake, Justin responded that he doesn't really remember Hootie and the Blowfish. He is a TRUE country boy and grew up on Hank Williams and Verne Gosdin. He added that he "respects the heck out of what those boys accomplished though"
  •
Justin worked at a Pottery Barn store when he was younger. One day, Kenny Chesney visited the store. Justin says he was so excited to meet Kenny Chesney. Moore told Chesney he would be the opening act at a Chesney show one day. Chesney replied, "I sure hope you do". Justin had that wish granted in Baton Rouge, Alabama when he opened for him.

When asked if he was inspired by Bruce Springsteen, Justin responded that he really respected him as an artist but he is pure country in his roots. He actually made a really smart comparison by saying Springsteen is the Hank Williams of the North. We love it!!
