Paul Stone here, and recently I saw The Hangover: Part III. Here is my review. Click the next slide -->

I came into this movie with such high hopes. Let’s face it; Hangover Part II was a bit disappointing. To its credit, it’s hard to do better than the first Hangover. It was just so original and funny in its own. But at least Part II had its moments. Part III feels literally like you have a hangover.

Let’s begin, well in the beginning. Without spoiling anything, you can see from the trailer that the movie starts with the death of Alan’s father. The funeral brings the wolf pack back together, and they all agree that Alan needs help. So they decide to take him a mental rehabilitation facility. From here the adventure begins.

Again, to not spoil anything, I’ll be very generic. The movie from here on out feels like it’s getting ready to be funny, but never actually gets there. In the first film, you could feel the mood change as soon as they got to Las Vegas. Second film, it was Bangkok. This film goes to multiple locations, but never feels like this is where you are supposed to be, or at least not what you expected from the trailers.

Main feeling I took away from Hangover Part III… everything feels forced. It was as if the actors themselves didn’t even want to do this movie. The banter between Allen and Stu just feels lame. Yes Allen is insane Stu, you don’t have to keep screaming and asking “Are you insane?!”

Second notion, there is TOO MUCH CHOW! This movie might have been better if it was just a spinoff featuring just Chow, that’s how much Chow there is. Remember in the first movie, Chow was a villain and wasn’t a main focus. Finding Doug was. In part II he came in more, but he wasn’t the reason we were watching. Yes he is a funny character, but only in small doses.

In conclusion, what really upset me was the very end. After the credits roll, there is a scene that is the funniest part of the entire movie… BY FAR! This scene could have been the whole movie. It was the taste of the movie that I wanted this one to be! Talk about feeling let down, and then seeing a taste of something that could be good knowing full well it will never happen. And for the most part, probably shouldn’t happen, like this movie.

Just wait for it to come out on Blu-Ray just watch that final scene after the credits. Otherwise, I say PASS! Save your money.
